This program is funded through the Community Development Block Grant for the purpose of issuing up to $25,000 in home improvement loans to eligible residents in Franklin Township, Somerset County. All homes must be owner-occupied. The Housing Rehabilitation Program allows the home owner to borrow funds from the Township to pursue work on your home. This program is designed to assist homeowners in contractor grade, violations, like-for-like repairs and improvements and to ensure your home is code compliant while also addressing the housing quality standards for the Community Development Grant Program.
