CONVENIENCE CENTER

Location:  Corner of School Ave. & Berry St.

No Pass is required for Brush/Shrub Trimmings, Hedge Clippings, Branches not larger than 4” in diameter or 4 feet in length

Not Accepted - Grass, tree stumps, tree trunks or tree parts from below ground level

Anyone wishing to purchase a pass for other items can:

  • Download the form and mail a check and your current vehicle registration

  • or stop by Public Works

Schedule & Rules

A vehicle with two or four doors which has a separate trunk. A vehicle with no rear seat behind the driver’s seat except that : Pickup trucks may have a body no longer than eight feet, and trailer may have a body no longer than eight feet; All pickup trucks loaded more than twice the height of the body sidewalls will be changed for two trips.

TO  PURCHASE  A  PASS

Open to Residents ONLY – ALL  RESIDENTS  MUST  present valid Driver’s License to verify residency to qualify and purchase a pass.

RULES AND INFORMATION:

Acceptable Items for Disposal (trip pass required):

  • Furniture

  • Rugs

Materials NOT Accepted for Disposal at the Convenience Center:

  • Renovation / Construction Materials / Debris – sheet rock, tile, concrete, brick, asphalt, rock, etc.

  • Grass, tree stumps, tree trunks or tree parts from below ground level

  • Railroad ties or Treated wood

  • Household garbage, food wastes, cooking oil

  • Hazardous Materials, pesticides, oil paint, chemicals, driveway sealer, etc**

  • Propane Tanks**

NOTE:

Recycled items may be accepted by Somerset County as well. -See Somerset County Website for more information.

**The items  in orange may be accepted by Somerset County hazardous waste drop off days. See Somerset County Website for more information.
