Canal Road closed from Griggstown Causeway to Route 518

Take your feet to the streets! Enjoy a day with friends and family along the scenic D&R Canal! 

This free event is open to pedestrians and those on bikes.

On August 28th, reenactors of George Washington and his African American Aide de Camp Bill Lee to ride on horseback on the southern part of the road commemorating the anniversary of the March to Yorktown in 1781 which occurred on this stretch of road, part of the Millstone Valley Scenic Byway.

Canal Road closed to motor vehicles.

Residents within these locations will have vehicle access to and from these areas so please proceed with caution!
