Qualifications of EEF’s tutor:
- Highly rated professional tutor for 13 years (subjects at AP and college levels: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Calculus)
- Edits/authors practice questions for the AP Physics exam and MCAT exam
- Master’s Degree in Science Teaching; Master’s Degree in Public Health
- Former biomedical researcher and NYC (Harlem) public high school Biology teacher

Somerset County Family Crisis Intervention Unit (FCIU)
The Somerset County Family Crisis Intervention Unit (FCIU) serves youth under the age of 18 and their families for a variety of crisis situations, such as when a child/family is experiencing family conflict and/or the child is truant from school or running away from home. The unit provides 24/7 crisis intervention, assessment, short-term therapeutic services, case management and referral when needed in the hopes of stabilizing the crisis and avoiding the need for court intervention when a child is at imminent risk due to risky behaviors.

Middle Earth is a non-profit that has been serving youth in Somerset County for nearly 50 years. Our Vision is that all youth we serve have a safe place where they feel valued and respected allowing them to reach their full potential. Our Mission is to provide individuals, primarily youth, with prevention and intervention services to help them develop into responsible and self-sufficient members of the community.
Raritan Valley Community College has been serving as an academic and cultural center for Somerset and Hunterdon County residents for over 50 years. The College has been nationally recognized for its service to the community, environmental stewardship, and commitment to diversity. It is home to a Planetarium, Science Education Institute, and an Honors College for high achieving students. The College offers more than 90 associate degrees and certificates, as well as career training, small business assistance through the Small Business Development Center, and professional development courses. RVCC is located in Branchburg, NJ.
