The 2024 General Election will be held on November 5, 2024 at polling locations throughout Franklin Township.

There are three ways an eligible voter can cast their ballot in a Primary and General election.

  1. Mail-in ballots
  2. In-Person Early Voting
  3. In-Person Election Day 

Voter Registration

You must be a citizen of the United States; you must be 18 years of age on or before the day of the election & you must be a resident of your present address for at least 30 days before the election. 

Register to Vote!

Paper applications must be received by the Township Clerk’s Office or the Somerset County Board of Elections 21 days prior to Election Day.

  • Requested Mail-in Ballots Sent Out - September 21, 2024

    Visit the County website to request a mail in ballot.

  • Voter Registration Deadline October 15, 2024

  • Mailing of Sample Ballots -October 23, 2024

  • Mail-In Ballot Application Request Deadline - October 29, 2024

  • Early Voting Period - October 26, 2024 through November 3, 2024- Community/Senior Center, 505 Demott Lane, Somerset

  • Mail-In Ballot Return Deadline - In-Person – November 5, 2024 at 8 p.m.

  • Mail-In Ballot Return Deadline - Drop Box— November 5, 2024 at 8 p.m.

  • Mail-In Ballot Return Deadline - Mail – November 5, 2024 at 8 p.m.

  • Election Day - In-person - 6:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. - November 5, 2024
