Tails on the Trails
We invite all dog owners and their furry companions to enjoy the scenic outdoors. Walking with other dogs will help build their confidence and enhance their social skills. No dog? No problem! Our walks also welcome people without pets. We are looking forward to building a community of local nature enthusiasts. We have 62 miles of trails in our township, let’s explore them together!
"The idea of dog walks in our township has been based on NB Pack Walks led by M. Kolar in nearby New Brunswick."
There are several rules we will be observing:
* Please wear an ORANGE hat and/or ORANGE clothing since this is bow & arrow hunting season.
* Dogs must wear collars displaying licenses at all times and must have current vaccinations.
* We welcome all dogs regardless of friendliness or dog training.
* Bring bags and water for your furry friend.
* All dogs must be leashed at all times. Please keep dogs on the trail and out of the grasses.
* Leashes must be no longer than 6 feet, flexi leashes are not permitted.
* Dog owners must maintain a safe distance from other dogs and their owners unless both sides agree to socialize.
* No on leash greeting without verbal agreement from the owner.
* Please arrive a few minutes prior to 1:00pm so we can leave on time.
