Enjoy a beautiful summer night at the Township’s John Clyde Memorial Native Grasslands Preserve while being able to observe the moon, meteorites, and the Ring Nebula. Through this guided observation with the Franklin Township Astronomy Club, visitors can anticipate seeing the Hercules Globular Cluster, one of the brightest globular clusters in the northern sky, containing over 10,000 stars.
Visitors should dress appropriately for the weather and ground conditions. Chairs and/or blankets, as well as personal telescopes, are permitted. Insect repellant is strongly recommended!
