The Franklin Township Police Department Community Relations Bureau (CRB) serves as a liaison between law enforcement and the community, promoting understanding, trust, and collaboration through various programs, initiatives, and outreach efforts aimed at enhancing public safety and building positive relationships.

Somerset, New Jersey 08873 - Introduction: Every Tuesday between March 5, 2024 to May 14, 2024 (6:00 PM - 8:00 PM), the Franklin Township Police Officers will teach a free preparation class. The application to attend is on the Franklin Township website. https://franklintwpnj.org/crb
The Franklin Township Police Department will be teaching a FREE prep class for the U.S. Citizenship Naturalization Test. The class will be taught by officers from the Franklin Township Police Department who were born or lived abroad and taken the test itself. The class will primarily be taught in English but the officers teaching the class speak multiple languages (Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Haitian Creole, Polish, Russian). The class will help practice English skills and review the civics questions for the test.
