NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Take Notice that the Township of Franklin (located in Somerset County, New Jersey) has contacted the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, proposing to divert two (2.00) acres of the Dunn House Property (Block 36.01 – Lot 20.01, South Middlebush Road) in connection with removing the historic structure from the preserved open space for the purposes of future sale and rehabilitation. As compensation for the proposed diversion, the Township of Franklin proposes to preserve eight (8.00) acres of municipally owned land as open space and add that land to the Franklin Township Recreation and Open Space Inventory.
Pursuant to N.J.A.C 7:36-26.8, a scoping hearing to obtain public comment on this request will be held at:
