The Franklin Township Annual Diwali Celebration Returns on October 12!
Franklin Township is gearing up for another amazing Diwali celebration on Saturday, October 12, 2024, from 5-8 p.m. at Franklin High School, located at 500 Elizabeth Ave, Somerset, NJ. The annual event promises an evening full of cultural festivities and excitement, celebrating Diwali, the festival of lights. Diwali is observed by people of various faiths worldwide and symbolizes the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil.
This family-friendly event will feature music and dance performances, vendors, mehndi artists, and a photo booth. Attendees will also have the chance to meet and interact with elected officials, making it a fantastic community gathering.
Please note that the audition deadline has now passed.
The event is free, and entry is open to all, but please note that refreshments will only be provided to those with food tokens, which are now sold out.
