Therapeutic Nature Walk

All are welcome to join the Therapeutic Recreation Department and the Trails Advisory Committee on an inclusive wheelchair accessible nature walk through the Negri-Nepote Native Grasslands Preserve. The preserve is known as a “birding hot spot” and inhabits a wide variety of over 200 species of grasslands, forest, and water birds. We will have a guided tour of the Negri-Nepote Native Grasslands Preserve, see various wildlife, and learn about the importance of native grasslands to the ecological balance of the area.
