Presents FREE Financial Literacy Workshop with Giveaways!

 

The Central Jersey Housing Resource Center (CJHRC) will offer a financial literacy program on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 from 5:30 to 9:00 pm. This FREE program will be held at the Central Jersey Housing Resource Center Large Downstairs Conference Room, 600 First Avenue, Raritan, New Jersey.

This workshop is very interactive and will allow all participants to walk away with important information they want and need. The topics of budgeting and tracking of expenses will be covered and each participant will each receive a calculator and a bill paying organizer and will do a few real life examples so they feel confident to create a budget after the program.  Also, each participant will be able to get a free copy of a tri-merged report on the spot which will also give them their credit score from all three credit reporting agencies and a $5 gift card for every participant who pre-registers.

Executive Director Sharon Clark states, “Financial education has always been an important part of our counseling and programs.  We have revamped the program to make it interactive and so that the participants will be able to walk away with increased money management/credit knowledge, and the information they need to practice good money management and possibly be motivated to change some habits. “

Pre-registration is required by March 4, 2016 as the class has limited space to the first 40 people.
