Patricia Shih will present “Songbirds: Women in Folk”, a multi-media live concert at the Franklin Township Public Library, 485 DeMott Lane in Somerset, on March 23 at 7:00 p.m.. Folk icons Ronnie Gilbert (The Weavers), Joan Baez, Mary Travers (Peter, Paul and Mary), Judy Collins and Joni Mitchell will be featured in projected images, interspersed with Ms. Shih singing their most-loved songs live. Ms. Shih welcomes the audience to join their voices with hers for this heartfelt stroll down Memory Lane.
Ms. Shih has been one of Long Island’s best-known, top-booked, well-respected and loved artists for over 30 years. She will be performing on guitar and vocals. After the concert Ms. Shih will be signing autographs and making her eight CDs and two books available for purchase and for autographs.
