This program will provide bike safety tips and children can ride their bikes through a bike safety course.

***This event is for Franklin Township Residents Only***

Penn Medicine Princeton Health Community Wellness has partnered with the Franklin Township Police Department to offer this free bike safety event for children. Children can bring their bicycle (and bike helmet) to the event where they will be provided a bike safety talk by members of the Franklin Township Police Department to help make them aware of safety concerns when riding their bikes. Children can then ride their bikes through a course in the parking lot which will help reinforce safe bike riding skills. Penn Medicine Princeton Health Community Wellness will be on hand with free bike helmets for children who might need them.

FTPD and Somerset Lions Club are accepting new and unused bicycle helmets to give away at the event. Donations can be dropped off at the Community Relations Bureau, 935 Hamilton Street.
